Workshop Foreman required for busy, high volume Service Department in Berrimah Darwin.

They are currently seeking a Workshop Foreman for our busy, high volume Service Department.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Liaise with Technical staff in your team and assist with further diagnosis and/or repairs.
2. Provide assistance at short notice to the Service Manager in an effort to resolve Customer complaints and improve Customer Satisfaction.
3. Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
4. Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts.
5. The ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams.
6. Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skill.
8. Provide leadership to your team by practicing and promoting “Fix it Right the first time”.
9. Mentor and assist Technicians/Apprentices to correctly diagnose/repair concerns the first time.
Our successful candidate will have:

11. Sound knowledge of Workshop procedures.
12. Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Automotive).
13. Effective Communication and Supervisory skills
14. Excellent Diagnostic skills.
15. Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple jobs.
