Job Opportunity: Experienced Chefs
We are seeking skilled chefs to support Residential Aged Care Facilities across the region, focusing on delivering high-quality meals that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cookery, with experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and presentation. They must also be able to work effectively as part of a team, providing guidance and supervision to kitchen staff while maintaining a safe working environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals safely and hygienically
* Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they follow food safety protocols
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months paid experience in Aged Care
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Food Safety and Handling Certificate
* Valid National Police Check
* Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
