About the role
We have an opportunity for a Forensic Accountant to be part of our Forensic Accounting Unit, State Crime Command. The Forensic Accountant provides service delivery in the Forensic Accounting field for the NSW Police Force and other key stakeholders, and also provides forensic accounting support to front‐line Police and other operational areas.
A Forensic Accountant role with the NSW Police Force offers the chance to use your financial expertise to directly disrupt crime. Staff value the meaningful impact, diverse casework, and close collaboration with detectives. You'll work on complex fraud, money laundering, corruption, and cyber‐enabled matters, contribute expert insights, and present evidence in court. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in auditing, investigations, or data analysis are especially useful. Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
