About the role: As the Manager Consultancy Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the Consultancy Service, leading the team, generating growth and driving implementation of the business plan.
Key responsibilities will include:
Directing the Service to ensure it supports current and emerging sector needs.
Managing operations of the Service including project oversight and delivery, structure, resourcing, financial management and performance monitoring.
Providing leadership and support to the Consultancy team to deliver a contemporary, impactful and valued service.
Identifying consultancy opportunities and developing proposals and tender responses.
Providing consultancy services including, but not limited to advice, project management, systems development, coaching/mentoring, training and auditing.
Managing relationships with partner organisations to ensure contracted outcomes are met.
Engaging with key stakeholders to build the Service’s profile, identify demand and develop business.
About you You are an experienced program lead, with a background in supporting aged and community care providers and strong knowledge of best practice in service delivery and the key issues faced by the sector. One of your strengths will be excellent oral and written communication with proven ability to develop tender responses and opportunity proposals.
You will also possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health or related fields.
Qualification or equivalent experience in management and business development.
Management or consultant/advisor experience in aged or community care, seniors’ housing/ retirement living or health within the last five years.
Strong coaching, mentoring, facilitation, training and consultancy skills with ability to influence change, particularly as an external agent.
Awareness of and compliance with WHS requirements.
Strong work ethic and work history that would evidence commitment to Ageing Australia values and a genuine passion for aged care.
