Urban Roads Inspector Full-time – Ongoing Position Number: 6231 Location: Braidwood The Package: $74,102.60 to $81,884.92 gross per annum + 12% super + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance (Evaluated as Grade 9 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Join Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council's Transport Maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring the safety and quality of our urban roads and infrastructure. In this role you will:
* Conduct regular inspections of urban roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
* Prepare detailed reports with condition assessments and photographic evidence.
* Respond to Customer Action Requests and reactive inspection needs.
* Assist in scheduling planned works by providing accurate condition-based input.
* Maintain compliance with workplace HSEQ standards
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience inspecting urban roads, bridges, and transport infrastructure, with the ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate condition reports.
* Possesses a sound understanding of WHS, including risk assessments.
* Is proficient in using electronic document management systems, corporate databases, mobile devices, and relevant software for data entry and reporting.
* Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
