Cassowary Coast Regional Council is seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to support and shape the employee experience across its diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor across all areas of HR, supporting a diverse workforce.
* Deliver end-to-end HR support including workforce planning, performance management, learning & development, and organisational change.
* Opportunity to work closely with operational teams and leadership, embedding people strategies directly into functions.
* Provide expert guidance on industrial instruments and Certified Agreement interpretation.
* Manage matters related to employee conduct, grievances, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
* Support organisational development initiatives such as capability building, culture programs, succession planning, and leadership development.
Requirements
* Degree in Human Resources or related field, with relevant HR advisory experience.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Proven experience using HRIS systems.
* Working knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and HR best practices.
* Ability to analyse HR data and translate into actionable insights.
* A current Queensland C Class driver's licence.
