The West Coast Eagles is an iconic Australian sporting brand with over 100,000 members. The Club formed in August 1986, playing its first official match for premiership points in 1987. Our women's side played its first game for AFLW premiership points in February 2020. Since then, the club has enjoyed significant success, winning premierships in 1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018. The club also has wide-spanning community and regional programs and is invested in a number of charity organisations, including the Waalitj Foundation.

About the role

The role is responsible for creating, developing and delivering high-quality, on-brand design across both print and digital platforms for all areas of the club. This role supports a wide range of projects, including digital and print advertising, print brochures, presentations, forms, marketing and commercial collateral, signage, retail and merchandise graphics, events, membership campaigns, and the ongoing visual development of the club website.

The role will be responsible for creating bold, high-quality visual content across the club's marketing channels, including:

* Digital assets such as social media graphics, website banners, EDMs and campaign artwork.
* Print collateral including posters, flyers, signage, invitations and match-day materials
* Sales and partnership presentations and pitch decks.
* Stadium and match-day graphics such as wayfinding, in-venue promotions and fan engagement displays.
* Merchandise graphics and promotional items.

Additionally the role will

* Manage multiple design projects at once, balancing deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced sporting environment.
* Liaise with external suppliers and printers to deliver high-quality physical and printed assets.
* Work closely with the greater Brand, Marketing & Digital Growth team, and other internal stakeholders to understand objectives, audiences, and campaign goals.
* Maintain and organise the club's digital asset library and design files.
* Produce polished, professional artwork using industry-standard tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesignli>
* Stay across design trends, emerging tools and best practices, particularly within sport, entertainment and fan-focused marketing.

Due to the nature of the industry and this role, there is an inherent requirement to work home match days and other club events which will include working some evenings and weekends.

Our ideal person

This role is ideal for a graphic designer with professional experience and a strong portfolio of creative work across digital and print. Additionally, it would be ideal if you had:

* Demonstrated ability to think creatively and translate ideas into actionable design concepts for print and digital media.
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and knowledge of the print production process.
* A strong understanding of digital production/design/printing technique.
* Familiar with Content Management Systems & Email Marketing Platforms.
* Motion graphic skills including use of After Effects would be highly regarded.
* Experience in file setup for print production and outgoing graphics for optimal resolution.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and providing exceptional levels of client service.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating cross functionally with various departments to achieve shared goals.
* Tertiary qualification in graphic design, or related field, is preferred but not essential.
