The Role
BOC, a member of the Linde Group, is seeking a customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team in Toowoomba. This is an excellent opportunity to launch or grow your career with a trusted industry leader. As a key part of our retail team, you'll support a wide range of customers by promoting our extensive portfolio of gases, welding, and safety equipment.
What you will enjoy doing
* Serve customers via phone and at the counter, processing orders and providing pricing and product information
* Actively promote and upsell new and existing products
* Maintain and update in-store displays and promotional materials
* Manage stock levels, and handle the dispatch and receipt of goods
* Learn and develop knowledge of modern welding processes and products
What makes you great
* Proven experience in a customer service or sales environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Background or interest in welding or technical sales is highly desirable
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to build a career in the welding and industrial gases industry
