What The Firm Is Seeking
Having identified the need to continually improve the "internal processes" within the firm, this role has been developed with the aim of improving the quality, compliance and turnaround time on SOAs and ROAs. Put simply, you become the conduit between the Financial Planners and the Paraplanners (external). Managing workflow, facilitating communication and impart technical advice. Yes, you become the internal guru
Obviously, the need for you to be "hands on" is quite minimal but you will be encouraged to maintain your high level of technical knowledge. This would incorporate legislative and compliance as well as extending to some key research projects.
A full overview of the "expected" workflow process will be provided at initial interview, thus allowing for you to determine if this is the right role for you. Whilst there is no expected client contract required in the role, you will be liaising with relevant internal stakeholders, some external contractors and some key service providers.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity it will be essential that you possess over five year's experience as a Paraplanner. A high level knowledge of XPLAN is also mandatory.
Due to the level of liaison required, a high level of personal presentation coupled with strong verbal communication skills is also "a must". A passion for detail and compliance is essential.
Note that this role is a full time appointment and due to the nature of the responsibilities, it is not appropriate for candidates seeking a Work From Home option.
