AEI Insurance Group are seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Administrator to join our team in North Sydney.

About the Role
As our new Human Resources Officer, you will be right at the heart of day-to-day HR operations. Working directly with the Human Resources Manager, you will assist in onboarding, recruitment, contract administration, payroll administration, staff training compliance requirements, policy administration and maintaining of staff records.
What You will Do
* Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS system
* Draft contracts, variation letters, and onboarding documentation
* Coordinate recruitment processes including job ads, interview scheduling, and develop a relationship with key recruitment firms
* Support compliance, reporting, and general HR administration tasks
* Respond to internal HR queries
What You'll Bring
* Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or similar (3 years' experience or more)
* A minimum of 3 years' HR experience may substitute for formal qualifications
* Experience in HR administration (Insurance industry preferred)
* A minimum of 5 years' HR administration experience is required
* Knowledge of Payroll processes
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience implementing policies and procedures
* Knowledge of Australian employment laws/Fair work administration/Long Service Leave requirements
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (Elmo, experience preferred)
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
* Australian permanent residency is required for this position
