Regional Liaison Officer Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Liaison Officer to assist people with disabilities, their families and carers in the local region. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating access to NDIS supports, connecting individuals with local services and promoting community understanding of the NDIS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with participants to develop tailored support plans and connect them with relevant local services and resources
* Support participants to navigate the NDIS and optimize their engagement with the scheme
* Improve community knowledge of the NDIS through targeted outreach and education initiatives
Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with people with disabilities or similar roles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of the local community and available options for social and economic participation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Working with Children and/or Vulnerable People Check
