Procurement Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, organize, and control the purchasing of materials, products, and services
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality, price-competitive solutions
* Work closely with warehouse teams to manage stock levels and optimize inventory turnover
* Oversee all inbound activities, including documentation, payments, and shipments
* Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supplier performance
* Maintain accurate records of procurement contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field
* At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualification
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
