Provide warm, efficient and effective patient care and customer service by anticipating, recognising, and meeting customer needs.
This is a permanent, part-time role working Mon – Fri, 5 hours / day (9am - 2pm) in our Rockingham Clinic.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, you will:
- Arrive patients at the front desk
- Handle accounts, banking, Medicare batching, and other billing activities
- Manage appointments and appointment scheduling, ensuring the correct examinations are performed based on request forms
- Provide a high standard of patient care and customer service by anticipating, recognising, and meeting customer needs
- Always act to protect patient privacy and dignity, and aim to ensure patient comfort
- Contribute to quality patient care through effective delivery of administrative services to the clinic
- Cooperate and assist other members of the team with training or excessive workload
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members
Who We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellence in patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a track record of positive working relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Success in previous roles working effectively under pressure to problem solve on the fly and meet targets and deadlines
- Ability to work independently, whilst functioning as part of a clinical team
- Tendency to take initiative and be proactive in your work
- Ability to interact empathetically and effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
