Join the Wanniassa Dental Team as a Part Time Dental Assistant/Clinical Coordinator. Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow your skills in a supportive, modern dental practice? Wanniassa Dental is seeking a motivated and friendly team member to join us.
This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience and work with the latest dental technology, including digital X-rays, CAD/CAM systems, and advanced digital scanners. Become part of a welcoming team that values growth, teamwork, and delivering exceptional care.
Days required: 4 to 5 days per week. Wages: $30 to $36 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
- Reception duties - meeting and greeting patients, general enquiries, record keeping, payment and insurance processing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental procedures and familiarity with dental terminology.
- Experience using dental software systems.
- Demonstrates empathy and a caring nature towards patients' needs and concerns.
- Friendly, positive, and flexible attitude, contributing to a welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control procedures to uphold clinic standards.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
