Job Opportunity: HSEA Specialist
The role of the HSEA Specialist involves working closely with site leadership to drive improvements in health, safety, and environmental performance.
This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all site environmental, health, and safety activities in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. The HSEA Specialist serves as a local process owner for these areas of responsibility.
* Collaborate with site leadership and regional managers to enhance health, safety, and environmental performance.
* Support site administration by implementing Graymont's systems and policies, including completing general administrative duties.
* Promote a culture of safety responsibility across the site and ensure adherence to regulatory and Graymont requirements.
* Facilitate risk management, assist in hazard identification, risk assessment, controls, housekeeping, and closing gaps.
* Coordinate accounts payable actions, complete weighbridge/despatch responsibilities, and handle incoming calls and post/courier deliveries.
* Assist with site document control and archiving, maintain confidentiality, and participate in continuous learning.
* Proven ability to build relationships with operational leadership, communicate effectively, and train others.
* Strong influencing skills to achieve role requirements and organizational objectives.
