Job Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to participate in a learning and skills development program within the community. The position involves delivering events, arts, and cultural activities, as well as place-based and targeted group engagement activities.

The opportunity is suitable for both school leavers and mature applicants who are eligible for a Certificate III in Events and do not already hold a higher qualification. The traineeship combines practical and theoretical training supported by Council and TAFE.

The Cadet, Apprentice and Trainee (CAT) Program aims to enhance workforce capacity by creating job opportunities, developing future leaders, and providing professional development aligned with external tertiary courses. Participants receive ongoing training, guidance, and support from workplace mentors while earning a nationally recognized qualification.

What We Offer

* A temporary full-time position, 35 hours/week, including evenings and weekends, up to 24 months or duration of the traineeship
* Salary up to $809.70/week, depending on school level and years since leaving school
* Plus 12% superannuation
