Job Description
You will sit at the centre of the finance team, working closely with business partners and operational teams to ensure the numbers are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
* You will lead the preparation and review of monthly and year-end financial reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and meaningful. This includes handling complex journals, provisions, and reconciliations, as well as analysing results and highlighting key movements.
* You'll take ownership of the balance sheet and general ledger, ensuring the integrity of key areas such as fixed assets, work in progress and accruals.
* You will also oversee tax and payroll accounting obligations, including BAS, FBT and statutory returns, making sure everything is compliant and delivered to deadline.
* A key part of the role is managing audit requirements - acting as a primary contact point and ensuring audits run smoothly from start to finish.
* Beyond core reporting, you'll contribute to ongoing improvement across the finance function, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and reduce manual effort.

You are confident owning deliverables, working to deadlines, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Ideally, You'll Bring
* CA/CPA qualification
* Around 5+ years' experience in financial accounting or reporting
* Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax and audit
* Experience working in a multi-entity or complex environment
* Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle)
* Advanced Excel capability
