We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Maintenance & Stores Coordinator to support our Canning Vale MRF / FOGO Facility on a part-time basis, working 30 hours per week. This role will assist with the effective management of spare parts, inventory, procurement, supplier coordination and maintenance support activities across the site.
This role would suit someone with experience in stores, administration, purchasing, inventory, or maintenance support who enjoys being hands‐on, organised, and closely connected to site operations.
About the role
In this role, you will:
Support the management of site stores, including spare parts, consumables and maintenance materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels to support operational needs.
Conduct regular stocktakes and assist with investigating discrepancies.
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with company processes.
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
Track and follow up orders to ensure timely supply of materials and services.
Support invoice matching and reconciliation against approved purchase orders.
Assist with planning and coordinating plant and general site maintenance activities.
Raise and schedule work requests in coordination with site teams and contractors.
Maintain accurate maintenance data in MEX, including work orders, asset records and service history.
Support reporting on maintenance activities, costs and trends.
Help maintain clean, organised and safe storage areas.
Support contractor coordination, site safety requirements and inductions.
Identify, report and escalates hazards relating to stores, maintenance or contractor activity.
About you
You will bring:
Previous experience in stores, administration, inventory, purchasing, maintenance support, or a similar role.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Confidence working with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
Good computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Exposure to inventory, purchasing or maintenance systems, with MEX experience highly regarded.
A strong safety mindset and commitment to following site processes.
The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
A willingness to learn and develop within a maintenance and operations environment.
