This business continues to grow and are looking for a skilled
Draftsperson
to join our Sydney-based team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at
Sydney Olympic Park
, where you'll work closely with engineers and project managers to develop
accurate, detailed mechanical drawings and specifications
. Your work will support the successful design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Draftsperson you will produce detailed mechanical design drawings and documentation using Inventor
* This Draftsperson will translate engineering concepts, sketches, and mark-ups into clear and accurate technical drawings
* The Draftsperson will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and quality
* As the Draftsperson you will maintain drawing registers and ensure document control standards are followed
* Assist with developing and maintaining drafting standards and templates
* The Draftsperson will support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation
About You
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter, ideally 3+ years
* Advanced skills in Inventor and AutoCAD are essential
* Strong knowledge of mechanical services, HVAC systems and manufacturing
* Experience working within the critical facilities, data centre, or commercial infrastructure sectors is highly regarded
* High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality documentation
* Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and meet tight deadlines
