**Formula for Success**
BASF's Mining Solutions business offers a diverse range of mineral processing chemicals and technologies to improve process efficiencies and aid the economic extraction of valuable resources.
As Technical Sales Manager, you'll be an integral part of bringing these solutions to the Mining industry. You'll promote and differentiate BASF as a value-adding, technically excellent and professional customer-focused company in the manufacturing and supply of these solutions. By acting as the key point of contact on mining sites, you'll strengthen relationships through your technical expertise, and through demonstration of product performance.
You'll:
- Ensure sales targets for Flotation segment are met or exceeded
- Manage the supply of products to our customers through accurate forecasting and communication
- Test the BASF product range to identify higher performing products and conduct plant trials
- Build strong customer relationships, and identify key customer contacts and decision makers
- Increase sales of products to existing customers and develop new business
**Ingredients for Success**
To be successful in this role, you'll have strong mechanical / process aptitude, ideally with knowledge of the Mining and Processing Treatment Industry. You'll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, and the ability to translate technical information into business needs.
You'll:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in chemistry, metallurgical, engineering or related discipline
- Be highly diligent with excellent time management skills
- Be customer focused and able to work autonomously to reach goals and deadlines
