Collarts is a dynamic independent tertiary college specialising in the creative industries. We're looking for a hands-on Content Producer to create engaging visual content that showcases our students, staff and campuses across digital and print channels.

Collarts (and its predecessor, Ausmusic) began more than 30 years ago with just three programs, a handful of students, and a small team of passionate lecturers. Founded on music and audio – a proudly rock'n'roll start – we've grown into one of Australia's leading creative education providers.

The role
Capture photography and video content across campuses, student events and external activations
Produce multimedia content including student and faculty features, interviews, showreels and campus-life highlights
Film and edit video for social media, websites, digital screens and campaigns
Design digital and print assets (social tiles, web graphics, course guides, posters, banners, flyers and more)
Prepare artwork for print and adapt creative across multiple formats and channels
Write simple copy for captions, content descriptions and basic scripts
Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan content, cover events and deliver campaigns
Work directly with students and staff, directing talent on set and capturing authentic, real-world stories
Some out-of-hours work will be required at times to support events, shoots and deadlines
What we are looking for
You're a visual storyteller who is just as comfortable behind a camera as you are in Premiere or InDesign. You enjoy working in a small, collaborative team and you're energised by being on campus, talking to people and turning ideas into content.
You will bring
Demonstrated experience in video production (filming and editing) and basic sound
Strong design skills for digital and print, with a portfolio of recent work
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) or similar tools
An eye for composition, lighting and visual detail across still and moving images
Confidence working with students and talent on camera, giving clear and supportive direction
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to jump in where needed
