Job Description
* Manage and oversee the day‐to‐day financial operations of the organisation.
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Manage inventory and operational accounting activities.
* Manage month end activities and delegate activities amongst a capable team of accountants.
* Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support decision‐making.
* Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
* Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable team.
* Collaborate with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
* Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Skilled qualifications such as CPA or CA.
* Experience leading and managing a team.
* Exposure to a product related industry (FMCG, Manufacturing etc.).
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
* Audit background is also preferred but not a prerequisite.
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
