GHD's Mobility Solutions team in Brisbane is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Traffic Modeller to join our high‐performing team.

Working across a diverse range of transport and infrastructure projects, this role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, contribute to innovative solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams delivering outcomes that make a real difference for our clients and communities.

As a Senior Traffic Modeller, you will provide specialist transport modelling and planning support across a variety of projects, from strategic planning through to detailed assessment and delivery. You will be working closely with clients, project managers, and technical specialists across GHD.

Responsibilities
* Provide specialised technical services in transport modelling and transport planning to internal and external clients on a diverse range of projects.
* Providing technical leadership and mentoring to develop team members.
* Preparing high-quality technical work, reports, and proposals for our clients.
* The continual development of both GHD's and our own transport modelling capability working with the team to collaboratively identify innovative solutions for our clients.
* Project manage small to medium‐scale projects in accordance with GHD's project delivery framework.
* Ensure compliance with industry best practices and guidelines through all stages of project delivery.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with industry networks and clients.
* Assist with management of risks and opportunities within the team.
* Assist with management of the Quality and HSE compliance standards and promotion of continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified and experienced in transport modelling with typically over 8 years industry experience.
* Excellent working knowledge and demonstrated project experience of transport modelling using AIMSUN and/or VISSIM software packages.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience in strategic transport modelling software such as EMME or VISUM would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience in project management would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience in developing automated procedures for data processing and modelling (programming / python scripting); work autonomously and as a key member of the transport team.
* Degree in Mathematics, Engineering or another relevant field.
* Minimum Bachelor's degree qualifications in related discipline as appropriate.
