Description: We are seeking a calm, capable and reliable live-in support carer to assist an older adult living independently at home with Parkinson's Disease. This is a non-medical, supportive role focused on maintaining stability, routines and independence — not nursing care. The role is designed to reduce household strain while enabling continued independence in a respectful, structured environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, reliable day-to-day support
* Assist with routines affected by Parkinson's (task initiation, follow-through, organisation)
* Help maintain household stability and structure
* Provide reassurance through predictable presence
* Enable the primary carer to occasionally travel
* Gentle prompting and support with daily activities
