Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Produce and review accurate technical drawings across sales and pre-construction stages
* Ensure all plans comply with council, State Environmental Planning Policies, NCC, Australian Standards, and company policies
* Provide feedback, mark-ups, and final drafting checks for internal and external drafting teams
* Document all variations and ensure they are charged and recorded correctly
* Collaborate with internal teams including drafting, estimating, construction, permits, and sales
* Liaise with external consultants such as structural engineers, surveyors, and hydraulic engineers
* Mentor and support the drafting team to meet deadlines and quality standards
* Analyse building specifications and provide technical advice to ensure compliance with regulations
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications in building design, architectural technology, or equivalent
* Residential drafting experience (intermediate to advanced) using Revit and AutoCAD
* Knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and State Environmental Planning Policies
* Experience in residential construction or project home environments
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants professionally
