About The Role
We are seeking a full-time Hair Salon Receptionist / Retailer to join our dynamic team at Charli & Kate - Hair Company in Wollongong, NSW. As the face of our salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling front-of-house operations, and driving retail sales.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Warmly greeting and welcoming clients, ensuring a positive first impression
2. Scheduling appointments, managing the salon's booking system, and coordinating the client flow
3. Handling cash, credit card transactions, and processing payments efficiently
4. Maintaining a well-stocked retail area and providing recommendations to clients
5. Assisting the salon team with various administrative tasks as needed
6. Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment
What We're Looking For
1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the hair and beauty industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
3. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities to handle a busy salon environment
4. Demonstrated sales and product knowledge skills, with a passion for the hair and beauty industry
5. A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour
6. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
