About the Role
At our hospital, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our established Recovery team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during the recovery phase and preparing patients for return to ward. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
You will work closely with a supportive NUM and collaborative team to ensure seamless patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide evidenced-based nursing care
* Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure patient and staff safety
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
* Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse within PACU
* Certified in post-operative nursing or working towards/willing to obtain
* Current Advance Life Support Current Registration with AHPRA
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skill
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Works well independently and within a team
