Red Earth Restaurants own and operate the KFC Franchise in Karratha, WA. We are part of a small franchise group that specialise in running remote KFC restaurants in Northern Australia. We pride ourselves in having great restaurant teams focussed on serving the best quality food to every customer that visits us, often from hundreds of kilometres away!
The Role
We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in our KFC Karratha restaurant, located in The Pilbara Region, WA. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant General Manager in creating an energetic and positive work environment for all Team Members. Responsibilities
* Manage shifts in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
* Ensure employees are observing safety procedures and that any hazardous situations are rendered safe.
* Assist the Restaurant General Manager by ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations
* Assist the Restaurant General Manager to effectively recruit and select Team Members.
* Allocate responsibilities to each employee on shift and monitor performance accordingly.
* Assist the Restaurant General Manager in implementing restaurant training programs for Shift Supervisors and Team Members, to enable them to maximise performance and realise their career potential.
Key Criteria
* Preference will be given to candidates with 1 year or more of Full Time managerial experience in KFC in Australia
* Experience in Quick Service Restaurant or hospitality industry
* Proven ability to engage, lead and motivate Team Members
* Willingness to lead by example with integrity in all situations
* A desire to become part of the local community to ensure a work/life balance
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and interpersonal
* Must hold a valid driver's license
* Must have competent computer skills
* Energetic, resourceful and committed
