We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our payroll team. Our department processes payroll for multiple business units within the Group making this a high-volume, fast-paced role that requires strong organisation and attention to detail.
The NRW payroll team is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer or a junior candidate who is eager to learn, motivated and ready to develop a long-term career in payroll. Training and support will be provided for the right person.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Ensuring all timesheets and records are accurate and processed in a timely manner
* Supporting the accurate and timely processing of employee regulatory payments
* Setting up and maintaining accurate employee records
* Responding to payroll queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
* Assisting with payroll reporting, audits and compliance obligations
* Working closely with HR & Finance teams
* Providing assistance to other Payroll Officers
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
* At least 1 year payroll or administrative experience (e.g., reception, accounts)
* Experience in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel)
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* A strong focus on customer service along with strong communication skills
* Demonstrated understanding of payroll terminology and processes is a plus
* Experience using PayGlobal is advantageous but not essential
