Chicken Dinner is the new kid on the block – a performance marketing agency with a twist. Founded by ex‐Google Growth Manager Ben Drew, we challenge the traditional agency model by plugging AI‐enabled senior talent directly into our clients, stripping away the layers between strategy and execution. Specialising in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO, our team combines deep platform expertise with commercial thinking and rapid execution to craft campaigns that ooze personality and actually deliver results. We're expanding fast across Australia, the US, and the UK, partnering with ambitious brands that are disillusioned by traditional agencies.

The Role

As a Performance Media Growth Strategist, you're a client‐facing operator responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes across a portfolio of high‐growth clients while contributing materially to the agency's capability, culture, and commercial maturity. You'll own performance strategy and execution, with deep expertise in Google Ads, strong experience across Meta Ads and other paid channels, and the confidence to lead conversations that move the needle.

What You'll Own

Client Strategy & Relationships

* Act as the lead strategic partner for a portfolio of growth‐focused clients
* Own account strategy end‐to‐end, aligning business goals with channel execution
* Lead client meetings, QBRs, and strategy sessions with clarity and authority
* Spot risks, opportunities, and inflection points before they become obvious

Performance Marketing & Optimisation

* Own execution and optimisation across paid channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and more)
* Bring deep, hands‐on Google Ads expertise – structure, bidding, creative, automation, and analysis
* Turn performance data into clear insights and decisive action
* Work with creative, analytics, and technical teams to drive continuous improvement

Reporting & Analysis

* Deliver reporting that drives decisions, not just dashboards
* Identify trends, growth levers, and performance constraints across accountsStay ahead of platform changes, industry shifts, and competitor moves

Commercial Growth

* Identify upsell and cross‐sell opportunities within your accounts
* Partner on new‐business pitches with strategic insight and recommendations
* Work with leadership to improve retention, LTV, and account health

Leadership, Mentorship & Culture

* Mentor and coach junior strategists through feedback and hands‐on support
* Contribute to internal training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
* Model high standards in execution, ownership, and communication – set the tone, don't just follow it

Agency Development

* Help improve SOPs, workflows, and delivery systems as we scale
* Take ownership of internal initiatives that lift efficiency, quality, and scalability

Content & Client Engagement

* Appear in content for the agency and clients – thought leadership, video, webinars
* Represent our expertise and our clients' brands professionally and engagingly

What You'll Bring

* Proven performance marketing track record, with deep Google Ads specialisation
* Strong experience managing Meta Ads and additional paid channels
* Demonstrated success in lead generation, acquisition strategy, and spotting growth opportunities
* Comfort in commercial conversations – pitching, upselling, and contributing to closes
* Familiarity with martech and CRM platforms
* Sharp analytical skills – you turn data into clear strategic direction
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management
* Natural leadership – you raise the bar through action, not title
* The ability to thrive in a fast‐moving, high‐expectation environment
* A Bachelor''s in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not essential)
