About the role
Chemist Discount Centre Bunbury is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Bunbury, WA. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our community pharmacy, ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of pharmaceutical services to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the dispensing of prescription medications under the supervision of a qualified Pharmacist
* Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and processing sales transactions
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and restocking shelves to ensure the availability of essential pharmaceutical products
* Performing various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and order processing
* Adhering to strict health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the safe handling of medications
* Contributing to the overall smooth operation of the pharmacy by assisting the Pharmacist and other team members as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role within a healthcare environment
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
* A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanor to provide a positive customer experience
* Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products, terminology, and regulatory requirements
* A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and patient privacy
* Australian work rights are required for this position
