You are invited to apply for the role of Senior Associate / Special Counsel in Family Law at an award-winning commercial firm based on the Gold Coast.
Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of matters across all aspects of family law and for mentoring and leading members of the team, taking on a true leadership role at the firm.
Key responsibilities
Managing the current team and strategising future growth.
Providing expert advice on family law matters, including complex property and children's matters.
Drafting advice, court documents and correspondence to clients, solicitors and other stakeholders.
Attending client conferences, mediations and trials.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in family law, including property and children's matters.
Post-admission experience as a Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner in Family Law.
Experience appearing before and instructing Counsel on matters.
Drive to step into a true leadership position.
Strong drafting, communication and advocacy skills.
