General Foreman High-Rise Residential Project | Gold Coast
An opportunity has become available for an experienced General Foreman to join the delivery team on a major residential tower currently underway on the Gold Coast.
This project will deliver a premium apartment development featuring high‐end residences, lifestyle amenities and activated ground‐floor retail, contributing to the transformation of a key coastal precinct.
Working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and engineering team, you will play a critical role in coordinating trades, managing day‐to‐day site activity and ensuring construction progresses safely and efficiently across multiple stages of the build.
This position is with a highly regarded builder known for delivering quality residential projects and maintaining a strong project pipeline across South East Queensland.
The Role
As General Foreman, you will be responsible for keeping the site operating smoothly while maintaining strong safety, quality and productivity standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Site Manager in driving the construction programme
* Monitoring daily productivity and site progress
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
* Leading toolbox talks and daily pre‐start briefings
* Assisting in resolving construction and sequencing challenges
* Maintaining strong communication between trades, engineers and site leadership
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a hands‐on leader who thrives in a fast‐paced construction environment and has experience working on large‐scale building projects.
You will ideally bring:
* Demonstrated experience as a General Foreman on large construction projects
* Experience working on high‐rise residential or complex commercial developments
* Background working with reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders (advantageous)
* Strong leadership and coordination skills across multiple subcontractors
* A solid understanding of construction programming, safety compliance and quality delivery
