The Role To provide community-based assessment and intervention services for young people with complex mental health needs involved with the criminal justice system, including mental health assessment, intervention, and care coordination.
The Safeguard Service offers rapid, mobile, intensive, and flexible short-term evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for young people in contact with the justice system.
Location Location is negotiable within the Dubbo Region, with flexibility available.
Essential Requirements Occupational Therapist: Bachelor's/postgraduate degree, registration with AHPRA, and 3-5 years' clinical experience with extensive specialist or broad generalist knowledge. Social Worker: Bachelor's/postgraduate degree, membership with AASW, and 3-5 years' clinical experience with extensive or broad knowledge. Senior Psychologist: Four-year accredited psychology degree, registration with Psychology Board of Australia, and at least 9 years' clinical experience. Clinical Psychologist: Six-year accredited master's or higher degree, registration, endorsement, and supervision approval.
