They specialise in the delivery of high-end fitout and refurbishment projects in the commercial, hospitality, retail, industrial, government, and education sectors. Having an already well-established relationship with several high profile clients, this company has secured a number of exciting projects across their specialised sectors. This company is looking for a highly ambitious Estimator to join their team.
ABOUT THE POSITION.Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, contributing to the successful tendering and securing of projects. With comprehensive guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and development by ensuring the successful acquisition of key projects.
DUTIES.
* Prepare tender submissions
* Estimating projects
* Cost Planning
* Scope of works preparations
* Subcontractor negotiations
* Pre tender planning
* BOQ's
* Work with the team to plan programming
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating role within the construction space
* Background in commercial fit-out projects is preferred
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
