Job Description
This opportunity will see you work closely with experienced Directors across a broad range of private client and family group matters. You'll have exposure to structuring, business and investment planning, complex tax advisory work, ATO interactions and high-level compliance reviews.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a varied portfolio of private clients and closely held businesses
Delivering commercial tax advice across structuring, transactions and wealth planning
Reviewing technical work and ensuring quality and accuracy
Being a trusted contact for clients, referrers and stakeholders
Supporting junior team members through guidance and coaching
The role can be shaped for someone at Senior Consultant level through to early Manager, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
Successful Applicant
You'll be someone who enjoys solving complex tax problems and building strong client relationships. Ideally, you bring:
5+ years' experience in Tax Advisory within a public practice environment (Private Tax preferred)
Solid technical grounding with a desire to deepen your expertise
Strong stakeholder communication skills and commercial judgement
A collaborative approach, with readiness to mentor juniors
A values-aligned mindset centred on integrity and accountability
CA ANZ/ CPA is preferred
CTA/ Master of Tax is highly regarded
Law Degree (LLB/JD) or PLT pathway candidates encouraged to apply
