Job Description
We're seeking a talented UI/Digital Designer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate designer to make a positive impact on public sector services through design.
You will work closely with our clients, supporting their public sector projects as an embedded team member in both contract and ongoing roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting design research using quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand consumer expectations and needs
* Creating service blueprints, system maps, customer journeys, and supporting the execution of product or service delivery
* Working with UX Researchers and stakeholders to solve issues and problems through cross-agency and cross-sectoral approaches
* Developing and executing end-to-end customer experience strategies
* Designing industry-grade artefacts and contributing to report writing for applied research and publication purposes
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Experience and Skills:
* Minimum 4+ years of experience working in an agency or within government
* Extensive human-centred design experience
* Expertise in conducting customer research, problem solving, journey mapping, ideation, prototyping, and testing solutions
* Understanding of accessibility requirements for design, including WCAG guidelines and public sector design guidelines
* Experience using Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, CC, and other design tools
