Job Description
Department of children and families are seeking men and women to join the Remote Child and Family Safety Program as Remote Family Support Workers in Maningrida Community. Under the direction of the Team Leader, this role supports vulnerable children and families through culturally informed, place-based services that respond to child safety, family wellbeing, and housing needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting communication between Department of Children and Families staff and local families
* Supporting supervised casework related to child safety and tenancy needs
* Providing cultural advice and advocacy
* Supporting families to access local services
* Maintaining accurate client records and completing administrative tasks
