Sales Department Supervisor

You effectively coordinate your team, prioritise tasks, and delegate responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive co-worker experience.
You are committed to growing with the business and take pride in your own development. This role requires flexibility as you will work a mix of shifts including mornings, afternoons, late nights, and weekends.
Your Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily team operations, provide feedback on performance, and develop team members to achieve business and individual goals.
* Support and implement successful change management initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
* Solve operational problems and react to urgent issues, escalating when necessary.
* Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services, and tools to maintain high team competence.
* Create a high level of team knowledge about product features and benefits, encouraging them to promote complete home furnishing solutions.
* Encourage the team to actively sell top-selling products, prioritised products, and IKEA service products to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
* Maintain the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are met at all times for a positive customer experience.
* Analyse and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
