Project Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead multiple small, large, and complex projects from initiation through to closeout / handover within the Projects and Workplace Solutions Team.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday-Friday 08:00am to 04:00pm (with some flexibility ). To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.
Key Responsibilities
* Define project objectives, purpose, and scope of works with relevant project approvals
* Work with stakeholders to develop project brief, cost, timelines, and host site meetings
* Conduct risk assessments to identify and plan responses to treat the risk
* Create, update and file project information and documentation
* Develop project bid-pack, tender, evaluate, award works, and manage project expectation and work with stakeholders
* Undertake kick-off, review and site-specific meetings with suppliers / contractors
* Conduct site inspections, audits, forecasting and scheduled updating
* Manage project performance against KPI's and report escalated issues when necessary
* Perform performance evaluations of suppliers / contractors when needed
* Assist with project systems, processes, and procedure improvements
* Conduct workshops and training
* Travel to various projects sites throughout Australia as needed
Requirements
* Australian Driver's License
* Strong computer skills with the Microsoft Suite
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes and manage expectation with various stakeholders
* Experience with one of the following fields: Engineer, Project Management or Asset Management
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and police check
