About the role
Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.
As a Home Care Worker, you will:
* Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in Beenleigh, Eagleby, Marsden, Browns Plains, Slacks Creek, Loganholme and surrounding suburbs.
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
* Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
* Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.

Are you somebody who is passionate about delivering quality Home Care services to the local community? Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community.
The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit, experienced, and highly supportive team led by an experienced Service Manager, our team is built on a strong foundation of professional growth and shared values. Every leader in the team began their journey as a home care worker and has progressed into their current roles through dedication, skill development, and a genuine passion for care. This creates a unique team culture where lived experience is deeply valued, and mentorship is part of everyday practice. Our ideal candidate
* Is passionate about delivering high quality Home Care services
* Currently holds a Certificate III in Individual Support
* Currently holds, or willing to obtain a Medication competency
* Currently holds, or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR qualification
* Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
* A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
* Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
