We are looking for a qualified Flexographic printer to join the Opal Cartons manufacturing team based in Banksmeadow on a full-time, ongoing basis. The site operates 24 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday – Friday), and the successful candidate will be working on rotating 12-hour shifts.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
* Producing printed carton products on large format printers
* Setting up, production run and shut down sequences of the Flexographic operations in accordance with the daily schedule and within set commercial parameters.
* Reading, interpreting and communicating the job requirements and tasks.
* Maintaining a clean and well-organised workspace
* Communicating with other team members and team leaders
* Performing quality checks & operating machinery in a safe manner
* Working efficiently to achieve production targets

* Experience in using flexo-printers and multi-colour printers
