About the Roles
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking motivated and compassionate nursing staff to join our teams across a range of settings. With multiple opportunities available on a casual, temporary or ongoing basis, and negotiable hours, these roles offer flexibility while contributing to high-quality, person-centred care for our communities.
Assistants in Nursing (AIN) support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in the delivery of general patient and client care. The role involves undertaking basic nursing and care duties that contribute to the comfort, safety and wellbeing of patients, enabling nursing staff to focus on more complex clinical care. Employees at this level are accountable for their own actions and work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The Enrolled Nurse (ENC/END) supports the Registered Nurse/Midwife in the provision of safe, effective and person-centred nursing and/or midwifery care consistent with professional standards and legislative requirements. Enrolled Nurses work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife while retaining accountability and responsibility for their own nursing practice and the care they provide.
