A highly skilled clinician is required to lead and manage paediatric services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developmental paediatrics and general paediatrics, with experience in working with culturally diverse populations.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Providing clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of high-quality paediatric services.
2. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective child health programs.
3. Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that meet the needs of Danila Dilba Health Service.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* AHPRA registration with at least two years' post-fellowship clinical experience.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians – General Paediatrician.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
