About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing mechanical design engineering team, driving global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions. You will be responsible for managing and approving mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions, establishing robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management, and overseeing procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region.
* Drive the team's global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions.
* Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions.
* Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management.
* Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment.
* Manage team reporting, hiring, growth opportunities, annual goal reporting, KPIs, and performance reviews.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Extensive experience in mission-critical design.
* Proven track record in project management.
* Experience managing a team of mechanical engineers.
