The opportunity Reporting to the Director of Safety Operations, the Health and Safety Admin will provide essential administrative and coordination support to VicGrid's Health and Safety Operations team. This role plays an important part in enabling the delivery of VicGrid's health and safety strategic and operational objectives. You'll support the day-to-day administration of VicGrid's health and safety management system, help coordinate key initiatives, and ensure information, data and processes are well maintained. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you'll contribute to creating safe, inclusive and well-governed workplaces across VicGrid. What you will deliver * Support the Health and Safety Operations team in delivering high-quality health and safety advice and services. * Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of VicGrid's health and safety management system, including document control. * Collate, maintain and support reporting of health and safety data and information. * Assist with the maintenance and review of data entered into the digital health and safety management system. * Manage the central supply of personal protective equipment (PPE), including allocation in urgent or short-notice situations. * Practise cultural safety by contributing to environments, relationships and systems that are free from racism and discrimination, where people feel safe, valued and able to participate. What you will bring * A qualification in Administration, Occupational Health and Safety or Risk Management, or experience in a related field (desirable). * Experience maintaining accurate data and records, such as training records, performance reports and corrective actions within a large and diverse team environment. * An understanding of, or willingness to learn, health and safety legislation and related processes. * Strong computer skills, including experience working with digital management systems.
