Job Summary:
The Internal Sales Officer will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing project orders, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations. This role involves liaising with wholesalers and contractors, coordinating with production, and supporting our sales team in adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide outstanding customer service and support
2. Process and enter project and day-to-day orders
3. Supply accurate project cost estimates to customers
4. Liaise with wholesalers, contractors, and production for stock availability
5. Expedite orders on time, including staged deliveries
6. Follow supply chain processes: import, production, dispatch, delivery, and returns
7. Support Head Office reception as needed
8. Provide accurate forecasting of forward orders
9. Contribute to sales team synergy and participate in sales meetings
10. Assist the sales team with customer service when needed
Requirements:
* Customer service experience, preferably in the electrical or construction industry
* Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
* Estimating, planning, and project management capabilities
* Excellent communication and professional phone manner
* Data Centre experience and requirements analysis proficiency
* Attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to report research results and inform others
* Team player mentality
