This is a full‐time position that supports hybrid working by agreement.
Role Overview
Partner with clinicians, medical specialists and hospital leaders to create compelling philanthropic opportunities that align with health innovation, clinical excellence, patient experience and equipment needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, launch and management of philanthropic initiatives that support hospital projects.
* Deliver income targets, KPIs and strategic outcomes, including leading complex projects or programs.
* Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and donors, demonstrating credibility and presence.
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with senior management and finance to integrate corporate partnerships and philanthropic planning.
* Use Salesforce or similar CRM systems to track donor engagement and program performance.
Qualifications
* 10+ years senior experience in philanthropic fundraising, business development or related roles within complex not‐for‐profit or corporate environments.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience), with CASE or FIA training and membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.
* Proven ability to deliver income targets, KPIs and strategic outcomes, including leading complex projects or programs.
* Senior level experience in large, multi‐streamed organisations with a collaborative, cross‐functional working style.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and donors.
* Experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropic planning, ideally within not‐for‐profit, health or community services sectors.
* Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with an understanding of government, business and organisational drivers.
