We are a friendly and busy GP clinic seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Experience preferred but not essential, however prior use of Best Practice software is highly regarded.

* Availability to work all day Friday and on weekends
* Additional weekday availability is highly desirable

Responsibility
* Timely and accurate administrative support to enable the clinic to run smoothly and efficiently.
* Answering calls and checking emails
* Open and close the Practice.
* Facilitate patient consultations – appointment scheduling and reminders,
* Facilitate service payments – collection of information, processing invoices and receipts, liaising with health funds, compensation and third-party claims.
* Update data and information on the practice software, including incoming and outgoing correspondence.
* Maintenance of general tidiness and cleanliness of all rooms.
* Reconciliation of invoices and payments for banking
* Other duties as directed by the Practice Manager.
Essential skills and experience include:
* Previous General Practice experience with ability to use the Best Practice software.
* Communicating effectively with diverse range of people both verbally and in writing.
* Time management skills
* Punctuality and Professionalism
* Computer proficiency
* Ability to work independently and as a team player.
