Overview
Jacobs is dedicated to solving the world's most critical problems and has been awarded major infrastructure projects in Melbourne. We seek a highly experienced Commercial Manager to provide commercial leadership across complex project delivery environments, supporting large‐scale infrastructure projects in regulated, multi‐contract settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management across major delivery contracts (Incentivised Target Cost, EPC), ensuring contractual compliance and governance.
* Maintain oversight of cost performance, target outturn cost, contingency, incentive mechanisms, and overall commercial exposure.
* Manage commercial interfaces across multiple contractors, proactively identifying and mitigating risk and dependency impacts.
* Lead change management, entitlement assessment, claims analysis and complex commercial negotiations.
* Provide strategic commercial and contractual advice to drive value‐for‐money outcomes and informed decision‐making.
* Support commercial governance, reporting, approvals and audit‐ready documentation.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, law, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
* Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role on major infrastructure projects.
* Mandatory experience managing Incentivised Target Cost (ITC) or similar contracts.
* Mandatory experience managing EPC contracts.
* Proven capability in complex, multi‐package delivery environments.
* Strong contract interpretation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Background in large‐scale infrastructure, energy or utilities projects within regulated environments.
